Vladimir Vukićević
Mozilla Corporation
Vladimir has been involved with the Mozilla project since 2004, and joined the Mozilla Corporation as an engineer in 2005. He is currently working on infrastructure for the Gecko engine, including developing a new rendering architecture, integrating SQLite data storage functionality, and improving Mozilla's XUL UI language. Involved for many years with open-source projects, he has worked on the GNOME Project while at Ximian (now Novell) and the Lightning calendar project while at Oracle. He is also the maintainer of OpenGL bindings for Mono and other .NET implementations.

This presentation will examine some of the strengths and weaknesses of the HTML 'canvas' and SVG for adding rich graphical capabilities to web applications. Future browser graphics capabilities, both 2D and 3D will also be discuss.
